Technical discovery

A practical conversation before scope is fixed.

This call is designed to help you understand the problem, the possible delivery routes and the next sensible step, whether that is a website package, software discovery, Azure assessment, integration review or ongoing support.

30-minute technical discovery session Useful even if you do not have a full brief Clear recommendation on the best next step

Who this call is for

Useful when the problem is clear, but the route is not.

The call is best when you need a senior technical view before completing a full brief or committing to a particular build route.

Have an idea but are not sure how to scope itNeed a website, portal, booking journey or web appWant to improve or replace a manual processNeed systems, payments, bookings or CRMs to connectAre unsure whether you need software, cloud hosting, integrations or supportWant to review an Azure setup, hosting approach or technical riskNeed help deciding what should be built first

What we cover

A focused 30-minute scoping conversation.

0-10 minutes

Understand the problem

We discuss your current situation, the business problem, the users involved and what is not working today.

10-20 minutes

Explore possible routes

We look at whether the best route is a website build, portal, integration, Azure review, managed support or phased software project.

20-30 minutes

Agree the next step

You get a practical recommendation on what to do next, what can wait and whether LDS is the right fit to help.

What this is not

This is not a hard sales call.

The goal is to understand the requirement and give you a useful next step. If a smaller website package, a discovery phase, a fixed assessment or a different provider is the better route, LDS will say so.

Before the call

You do not need a full technical brief.

  • What you want to build, fix or improve
  • Your current website or system, if one exists
  • Any tools that need to connect
  • Your rough timeline
  • Any known budget range or constraints
  • The main outcome you want from the project

Prefer to send details?

If you already have a clear requirement, complete the project brief instead.

Use Start a Project when you can share project type, goals, likely components, timeline and budget context.
